ZHL Range

ZHF coupling

The ZHL coupling range is based around secc's threadless pipe joining technology. The couplings simply push together with no requirement for external tools.  There are no separation forces created and the design is not subject to any pressure, diameter or material constraints.

There is no head loss and assembly is very easy with confirmation of connection.  The coupling bore is straight-through and therefore eliminates any losses from either reduced bore or flow obstruction.

Visual confirmation of proper connection and safety features preventing accidental disconnection can be easily incorporated within the standard design. The coupling can be manifold mounted.

Due to its versatility, the coupling has a wide range of safety features available and a large range of seals can be used.

Applications:
Applications include hose connections to manifolds, actuators, pumps, valves and pipes.

ZHL Manifold Connector
The ZHL Manifold connection benefits from tool less connection and disconnection. It has no pressure constraints and gives aneasy visual confirmation of connection.  thease features result in a significant reduction in build times on new machines and the elimination of leaks due to poor assembly or accuracy.  There is the additional benefit of closer connections resulting in a more compact manifold and space saving.

ZHL Connector
The system can be either balanced or positively energised and no separation forces are created.

The diagram below shows push and pin breakout, however, breakout strength can be defined by many different mechanisms.
