The simplicity and flexibility of the secc coupling technology means that the number of end uses is virtually limitless, either as new or replacement technology. Suitable for all power or fluid transmission requirements.

The unique design removes the limiting factors of existing quick connect and threaded couplings and connectors, by providing a solution that is not diameter or pressure constrained. A coupling that holds itself together without relying on latches or threads.

We have developed a number of features that can be built into our coupling such as the control of break out strength, visual confirmation of connection, self sealing in the event of break out and keying of connectors.

At secc we are keen to talk to potential users of this breakthrough technology and thereby develop the product for specific applications. Existing work in sub-sea (fluid and power transmission), aerospace (fluid and power transmission), heavy industrial plant (power transmission) and automotive (fluid transmission) have already provided unique solutions to existing problems.
